Nintendo Switch:

• If you haven’t already, set up an internet connection on your Nintendo Switch system.
• Ensure your Nintendo Switch system is updated to the latest system version.
• From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon.
• Select “Enter Code”.
• Enter your download code and click “Submit”.
• Your total balance cannot exceed $200.

Wii U:

• If you haven’t already, set up an Internet connection with your system and ensure your device has the latest system update. From the HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon. Select “Balance” from the left side menu. Click on the box labeled “Nintendo eShop Card.” Click on the box labeled “Enter Code.” Use the touch screen to enter the activation code from the Digital Card and click “OK.” Select “Add.”

Nintendo 2DS/3DS/3DS XL:

• If you haven’t already, set up an internet connection with your system and ensure your device has the latest system update.
• From the HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon.
• Scroll left and select “Add Funds.”
• Select “Redeem a Nintendo eShop Card.”
• Click on the box labeled “Enter activation code.”
• Use the touch screen to enter the activation code from the Digital Card and click “OK.”
• Click “OK” again.

When you enter the card’s activation code on the Nintendo eShop or other Nintendo shopping service, the card’s balance will be associated with your Nintendo eShop account and cannot be transferred.
• The card balance can only be used on one Nintendo eShop account.
• The maximum unused account balance that can be stored on one Nintendo eShop account is currently limited and therefore, the card may not be redeemable temporarily.
• The card balance does not expire and there are no fees associated with the card. This card cannot be reloaded.
• The card balance cannot be exchanged for cash or the value of third-party storage and cannot be refunded unless required by law.
